1. General

• My Online Japanese Teacher is a part of Mayumi's Japanese Language Service.

• You must be 18 years or over to use this service. If you are under 18 years old, you need permission from whom is responsible for the payment.

• You must provide your real name, a valid email address, and other information requested in order to complete the registration process.

• You need to have an internet connection, a suitable device for your chosen plan to use this service.

• My Online Japanese Teacher shall not be liable to you or any third party for any technical problems.

• You agree to use the service at your own risk and responsibility. 

• My Online Japanese Teacher reserves the right to modify or terminate the service after disclosure of changes is made to all students.

• My Online Japanese Teacher shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or termination of the service.​

2. 1-2-1 Lesson

2-1 Lessons

• Lessons must be on time.

• It is your responsibility to find out the correct lesson time for your time zone. My Online Japanese Teacher shall not be liable for this matter.

• Depending on your needs, you will be requested to buy the textbooks and the workbooks to support your studying. Your progress will be affected without them.

• You must come online, log in to your Skype account, and prepare for a video call from My Online Japanese Teacher before the lesson time.

• You must respect My Online Japanese Teacher and not interrupt the lesson, otherwise, My Online Japanese Teacher reserves the right to remove you from the lesson.

 

2-2 Absence and Delay

• Any delay caused by you, including technical problems and problems with the internet connection on your side, will consequently make you lose your lesson time. For any other reasons eg. problems with the internet connection on My Online Japanese Teacher's side, caused by My Online Japanese Teacher, the lesson will be extended or rescheduled without additional cost, however not refunded.

• You are allowed to join the lesson within 15 minutes of the beginning of the lesson. If you fail to come online within this time you are no longer allowed to take the lesson, however not refunded.

• You must notify My Online Japanese Teacher as soon as possible if you won't be able to attend or will be late for the lesson.

 

2-3 Cancellation

• The cancellation made by you more than 24 hours before the lesson will be rescheduled without additional cost. The cancellation made by you less than 24 hours before the lesson will be charged.

• The cancellation made by My Online Japanese Teacher or caused by any other reasons eg. problem with the internet connection, the lesson will be rescheduled without additional cost, however not refunded. 

 

2-4 Payment

• All the payments you made are considered final and non-refundable for any reason but you will be provided with the number of lessons you paid.

• The payment will be accepted only via PayPal through this site/ bank transfer (UK students).

• The payment must be made at least 24 hours before the lesson.

3. Self-studying

3-1 Copyright

• My Online Japanese Teacher owns the copyright of the videos.

• Videos are edited/updated by My Onlien Japanese Teacher to keep the quality of the lessons at any time.

3-2 Use of YouTube

• Follow the guidline of YouTube.
